From spreadsheets to systems

Built from inside the work, not imposed on it.

Software built for the operating realities of infrastructure and project finance. We convert manual and spreadsheet-based processes into governed systems where information is captured once, held auditably, and visible to each party entitled to see it, applying artificial intelligence where it measurably reduces effort.

A process systemised
A process that currently lives in spreadsheets and email threads, built into a system in your own environment and handed over with the schema, the documentation and the credentials.
Data and reporting
Reliable, decision-ready information, with the recurring reports that are assembled by hand every month built once and left running.
Training and handover
Everything is built in accounts that belong to you. Your team can run and change the system without us.

Infrastructure and climate finance

Every condition, with the evidence that closes it.

A financed project carries hundreds of obligations: conditions precedent, covenants, environmental and social action plan items, drawdown conditions and reporting dates. Held in spreadsheets and email threads, answering a single lender question becomes a two-day search, and a drawdown waits while somebody looks for a document.

Capital Governance holds them in one register. Each obligation carries an owner, a due date, and the document that evidences it attached to the item itself. A developer, a lender and a technical adviser each work from the same records, scoped so that every party sees what it is entitled to see. Every change is written to an append-only history, so you can show what was true on a given date rather than argue about it, and the data room is searchable inside that same scope.

It was built out of live governance work on an internationally financed programme, governing conditions precedent across drawdowns and an environmental and social action plan against IFC Performance Standards.

Claim every rand you are owed.

The South African Revenue Service is specific about proof. A travel claim needs a logbook with opening and closing readings and the business purpose of every trip. An expense claim needs the receipt. Reconstruct a year of that in March and you are estimating, and estimates are what get disallowed.

Expenstry captures it while it happens. Photograph a receipt and it is read and filed. Start a trip and the logbook records it, with business and private separated at the moment of travel instead of at year end. When the return is due, you export a pack your accountant can work from, in the form SARS expects.

Built for South African self-employed professionals and small businesses, and live on the web and on Google Play with paying subscribers.

OtherX Technologies builds the systems OtherX Premium Properties runs on. The property management system covers security management and the general operations of a property, from guest registration and identity verification before arrival through to the running of the stay. It was shaped by live operation rather than by a specification, and it works on every booking at Casa Sunshine.
